We're navigating time zones this Autumn to work with some extremely talented comedy writers in Australia.

Huge thanks to Guesswork Television and Token for inviting us to teach our 'Concept, Character and Craft' programme focussing on creating TV Comedy / Comedy Drama projects.

This bespoke programme is a series of five on-line training workshops accompanied by one-to-ones with each participant.

As part of BBC Writer's commitment to developing emerging talent, we've been invited to train their alumni in scripting a short film.

Short Films have become increasingly important for emerging screenwriters to have in their portfolio of work (no longer just writer / directors) and we're delighted to bring our expertise to this excellent initiative.

We are thrilled to be collaborating with the incredible production team at Soho Square Studios on a new podcast project to be launched later this year. Inviting our guest speakers to these state of the art suites in the heart of Soho is an absolute dream.

The Script Factory team have been working with The Pitch Film Fund for the past ten years. Open to filmmakers at any stage in their career, this annual adaptation challenge fully funds two short films each year. Plus offers a brilliant package of development support and training for all shortlisted applicants.

Dominic Morgan, aka SCRIPTFELLA (an original member of The Script Factory’s Writers’ Group from way back in the early 2000’s) has worked as a professional screenwriter in Hollywood and London for over two decades. Dominic’s wealth of experience led him to create the brilliant SCRIPTFELLA programme which promises to equip writers with the advanced skills they need to break into Hollywood. We’ve done it and genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough.

In 2024 we collaborated with BFI NETWORK South West to offer a 'Thinking Cinematically' workshop for theatre writers in the South West of England who are hoping to make the leap into writing for the screen.
