Script Factory training always aimed to offer practical approaches to help writers and developers wrestle all their great ideas into a solid and satisfying draft. Each training initiative we created was in response to recurring problems we noticed in the scripts we were reading and developing; we avoided screenwriting jargon and theories but rather taught what we learnt from scrutinising the films we admired and asking how did the writer achieve that? Or in some cases, how did they get away with that?
